Poggio Del Sole Resort 
The Poggio Del Sole Resort, originally built in 1879 as an old fashioned rural residence, was carefully restructured and expanded in 2006 by the present owners.
On the road from Ragusa leading to the sea, Poggio del Sole Resort (‘Sun’s Hill Resort’) dominates the charming Hyblean plateau amid a mixture of rugged valleys and hills, carob and olive trees, and a thick lattice of dry stone walls. Situated in the heart of the Ragusa countryside, the old fashioned building hosts 3 suites, the refined Dell’Angelo (‘of the Angel’) restaurant, the Degli Archi (‘of the Arches’) conference room and a Lounge Bar. Newly constructed is the more informal Osteria (carvery) with its stone oven and the newly restored rooms. The seaside is only 10 minutes by car from the resort.

Poggio del Sole Resort has a strong passion for the Hyblean territory.
We can suggest different destinations and itineraries to enjoy by foot, mountain bike or car excursions which will lead our guest to discover the most interesting artistic and naturalistic sites of the Province of Ragusa and of Sicily in general.
Among the most famous sites: Cava d’Ispica, the Hyblean Mounts with their valleys, the baroque towns of the Val di Noto and the old traditional farm-houses of the Province.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All children from 5 to 12 years are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 60.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.
Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.
Continental breakfast is not included and costs EUR 7.50 per person.
