This year, Gianni Rivela of Viaggieventi Miegghiucanenti has teamed up with the hotel to offer a whole host of trips, including to see the best examples of Baroque-style in Val di Noto, accompanied by a qualified tour guide.
Excursions are available to: Ibla; Castello di Donnafugata; the famous Modica, whose chocolate is made to an Aztec formula; the magnificent churches and architectural delights of Scicli; the Ortigia Archaeological park; the stone garden (giardino di pietra) in Noto; and the ancient Iblei mountains, with a tour of the towns of Monterosso Almo, Giarratana and Chiaramonte Gulfi.
